WE LOVE OUR FIRST RESPONDERS!
Our goal is to support first responders in their search for vitality and health on a daily basis. Rescue Me Wellness is partnered with several first responder organizations and groups, providing the following resources for their optimum health and wellness.
Tactical Athlete Services
Recognizing our community first responders, we have unique opportunities for wellness interventions that go beyond an NFPA recommended yearly exam. Physicals, worker’s comp assessments, disease prevention through nutrition interventions, and more. All testing and evaluation is done on-site or via our Mobile unit.
Disease Prevention Nutrition
We recognize that our first responders may not feel like they have the time to focus on their own health when they are focused on the health of all those around them. With an integrative medicine approach, we can assess disease prevention from a nutrition perspective with an in-depth look at lab markers and ways to improve health through diet and food. As Hippocrates once said, “Let food be thy medicine,” and we believe our first responders deserve the nutrition resources to feed their bodies with only the best.
Mental Health Resilience
Focusing on the five pillars of self-awareness, mindfulness, self-care, positive relationships, and purpose, we utilize telehealth to rapid connect first responders to staff with depth of experience in field trauma, substance abuse, and depression faced by front line first responders, including 911 call-takers and dispatchers and EMS/LE workers.
Galleri Cancer Screening
Galleri is a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test that looks for a signal shared across more than 50 types of cancer through a simple blood draw. Many of these cancers are not commonly screened for today and otherwise may go unnoticed before symptoms appear.
Who is it for?
The Galleri test is recommended for adults with an elevated risk for cancer, such as those aged 50 or older.
- Only your healthcare provider can determine if Galleri is right for you.
- Use of Galleri is not recommended in individuals who are pregnant, 21 years old or younger, or undergoing active cancer treatment.
